Use of Data Warehousing Techniques to Analyze the LMS Usage among Sri Lankan Universities Students

With the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, university education has been conducted through the online system instead of traditional education. Owing to this reason, the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) increased drastically. Therefore, it has become very important to analyze the use of LMS among the student community in Sri Lanka to identify the interests, benefits and drawbacks among Sri Lankan university students to use the LMS. Data for this research was collected through an online survey covering public and private universities in Sri Lanka, and this research paper considers the conclusions based on the large number of responses received from the university students, spread island-wide. This project attempts to understand the above findings more effectively by using data warehousing techniques.
