Abstract:
The management process necessarily includes a decision-making stage. Therefore, in the control system, namely in the control system, there must be an element that implements this stage and is authorized to make a decision. Depending on the distribution of powers to make a decision between the elements of the system, management methods and systems that implement these methods are divided into centralized, decentralized and mixed. In a centralized system, all management decisions are made by one body, in a decentralized system; all decisions are made by individual elements of the system independently and are not adjusted by other elements. In mixed systems, decision-making powers for management are distributed among the elements of the system in various ways. The most widespread are mixed control systems with a hierarchical, or multilevel, structure. Such systems are called hierarchical. In them, control functions are distributed among several control bodies of various levels (rank). At the same time, a governing body of any level, with the exception of the highest and lowest levels, manages lower-level bodies that are subordinate to it, and itself, in turn, is controlled by a higher-level body.
