Abstract:

Centralized Vehicle Security System is a python-based computer application, that uses Machine Learning (ML) techniques to detect and recognize the driver's face. So that only authorized personnel of an organization can drive the vehicles. With the invention of many other features like a key-card entry that will unlock the car and start the ignition of the vehicle, no requirement for keys. The application software will keep track of the vehicle. Also, the authors have developed a drowsiness detection system that has been implemented on the same motherboard using python and OpenCV to prevent major accidents on the road. The obtained results of proposed approach are convincing and promising.

I. INTRODUCTION

Today in the modern era automobile is one of the areas where the vehicle can be made intelligent by using different IOT technology. Apart from this intelligent vehicle system, vehicles suffer from many crimes. Therefore, a big challenge in front of us is to protect our vehicles from these crimes that occur [1]. The paper presents a proposed system by implementing a face detection system and locking the engine when unauthorized users try to access the vehicle. Vehicle Major categories of vehicles include two-wheeler vehicles, three-wheeler vehicles, four-wheeler vehicles, and heavy motor vehicles. Python-based computer application, Centralised Vehicle Security (CVS) system is specially designed for Institutions and Organisations which have vehicles for their employees. Vehicles in many Institutions or Organisations are often misused by filling up the wrong logbook details, sometimes drivers use it for an extra source of income without informing the owner and allowing other drivers to use it, and sometimes fuel is also taken out of the tank vehicle is hacked by the driver not only this driver provide wrong information to the owner about the vehicle, to solve such problems, but the CVS-System also comes in. All the data sets of all the authorized drivers will be saved in the database, also they will be provided with a key card. When a driver walks into the vehicle he/she uses the key card to unlock the car, gets inside the car, and places the key card in the key holder to start the ignition. Then the driver's face will be detected by the system then only the vehicle will start.
