Abstract:
Shortwave active whip antenna has been widely used because of its miniaturization and broadband. Generally, when providing the active antenna gain, without considering the whole, passive oscillator gain and active network gain are often provided respectively. Combined with the working principle of shortwave active whip antenna and based on the S parameters of active network, the system gain of antenna is analyzed, deduced and calculated in this paper. Finally, a design example of shortwave active whip antenna with the working frequency range of 2MHz-30MHz is provided. The calculated antenna system gain can provide guidance and reference for index allocation and project demonstration of shortwave communication link.
