Abstract:

Nonlinear frequency division multiplexing WDM transmission is experimentally demonstrated over 1200 km G.654E fiber using Raman amplification, achieving the highest data capacity of 20.48 Tb/s for the first time with the continuous nonlinear spectrum modulated.
