Abstract:
This In this work, a novel Charge Pump based Current Starved ring oscillator is proposed. The novel charge pump based ring oscillator is designed by modifying a 5-stage current starved ring oscillator. Two of the alternate stages are replaced by charge pump circuit. The proposed charge pump based ring oscillator reduces the phase noise of the oscillator.
