Abstract:

The basic idea behind this paper is to design a charging station for metropolitan urban populations that is also powered by solar energy. The most well-known commercial Electric vehicle (EV) on the market is taken into consideration while creating improved EV load models. The proposed solar-powered charging station is based on the developed EV load models and would be located in selected metropolitan regions. In this study, a power board and the sun are used as two sources to recharge an electric car’s battery. If the sun is not available (for example, during the winter or during a storm), the EV will take electricity from the power board. There is a new development in solar cell technology today that can produce electricity on sunny and cloudy days. Due to raindrops, this cell will utilise the “Graphene Photovoltaic Panel” (GPP), a wonder material.
