Abstract:
Software-defined radio (SDR) introduces flexibility and reconfigurability to wireless communication system, facilitating dynamic switching from one radio functions to another, in other words, the offloading and reallocation of platform resources from one SDR application to another. It's challenging to minimize the computing and storage resources of heterogeneous hardware platform, and to seek local optimal waveform application deployment in software-definable communication terminals. this paper focuses on waveform component deployment and optical scheduling of heterogeneous resource for SDR applications. Based on the scenario of SDR waveform application (SWA) mapping to heterogeneous processors, we propose an optimization deployment strategy for adding integer-coded particle swarm optimization (IEPSO) to the SDR operating environment.
