Alex Mihailidis received the B.A.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering and the M.A.Sc. degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Toronto, in 1996 and 1998, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from Strathclyde University, in 2003.,He is a currently a Professor with the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy, University of Toronto, and also with the Institute of Biomaterials and Biomedical Engineering, University of Toronto. He is also the Scientific Director of the AGE-WELL Network of Centres of Excellence. His research focuses on the development of technology to support older adults and family caregivers, through the application of artificial intelligence, sensors, and robotics. He ...
