I. Introduction
Parkinson's disease (PD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease characterized by tremor, rigidity, difficulty of walking, balance, and coordination [1]. PD is a common neurological ailment having symptoms that appear from the beginning of the disease and intensify over time. The global incidence of PD increased from 2.5 million in 1990 to 6.1 million in 2016 [2], accounting for a 21.7% increase of the age-standardized rate of prevalence [3], [4]. One million people have PD in the US alone, and the number is expected to reach 1.2 million by 2030 [5].
