Abstract:

The present work focuses on the mathematical modeling and computation of the dynamic response of piezoelectric plates trough thickness subjected to sinusoidal load pressure. A mathematical procedure based on trigonometric series in time and the Stroh-like formalism in space is elaborated. The results illustrate the impact of the thickness of the plate, the geometry and the frequency of the load on the linear dynamic behavior, while focusing on the stress and the potential electric solutions.
