Abstract:
OpenStack is a cloud operating system that can manage large pools of resources throughout the data center, including compute, storage, and network resources. Administrators can manage the entire system through the management desk and delineate resources for users through a web interface. It originated from a cloud computing platform project jointly developed by NASA and Rackspace, and is licensed open source under the Apache license. In this article, we'll go through the process of configuring each of the core OpenStack components and understand how they relate to each other. Finally, in this paper, we use SDN to create a virtual router to connect the public network with the private network created by OpenStack via the configured OpenStack, and then create an instance on the private network.
