Abstract:
Modern meta-heuristics algorithms have been successfully used to registration of different medical images. In this paper, we present a new technic based on the GWO algorithm for multimodal registration of a section of the human brain using computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance (MR) methods. Through the obtained simulation results, it appears that the proposed approach achieves high-resolution and robust registration compared to other methods such as Particle Swarm optimization PSO and sine cosine algorithm (SCA).
