Abstract:

In this research, it is proposed to perform a palm-leaf microstrip antenna designed to operate with a V band (40 to 75 GHz) with an acceptable return loss response below-50 dB. The antenna with palm leaf shaped provides a larger bandwidth than the patch antenna with a rectangular microstrip. A total wide bandwidth of 20 GHz with an effective gain of 7.902 dBi as well as an extremely low return loss between 38 and 58 GHz have been optimized for the antenna frameworks. It can effectively be manufactured for miniaturized wireless applications due to very compact dimensions of 6.8 × 6 × 1.44 mm3. Such high bandwidth is useful for many V-band wireless services.
