Abstract:
Next-generation wireless systems are expected to enable both high data rates and a significant increase in the number of connected devices. The emerging in-band-full-duplex approach is one of the most promising solutions to address these constraints, as it allows simultaneous transmission and reception in the same frequency band, along with high spectral efficiency and double throughput. However, since full-duplex systems suffer from severe self-interference, appropriate cancellation techniques are still under development. In this paper we focus on LTE communication systems and consider different training strategies for adaptive filtering based self-interference cancelation, using the LTE frame preamble and the OFDM cycle prefix.
