Abstract:

Mobile ad hoc network popularly termed as MANET is a collection of self governing mobile nodes, connected with each other in a random manner. The protocols associated with MANETs, are classified as re-active, pro-active and finally hybrid routing protocols. A Re-active routing which is otherwise called as on request routing approach was considered as a most useful category in routing designed of different ad hoc networks in wireless technology which had the ability to provide a relative solution to big network topologies. The mobility and infrastructure less of MANET created network congestion which became one of the major drawbacks for unicasting. Due to this, it became very difficult to guarantee Quality of Service (QoS) in MANETs. So through this paper, we tried to make an effort for evaluating the working of two on request re-active protocols of routing for MANETs on request we call it as AODV and Dynamic Source Routing or DSR protocols and one pro-active protocol of routing Destination Sequenced Distance Vector or called as DSDV for both RED (Random Early Detection) and Droptail queue management (DQM). By taking the help of simulation and using ns-2 network simulator, we came to know that the working of AODV differentials, DSR differentials along with DSDV protocols were moved to most working differentials which guarantees quality of service for all the protocols involved in RED as well as Droptail queue management technologies. The results that are presented by means of this paper are to examine the speciality in developing protocols of routing for Mobile ad hoc networks.
