Abstract:

This paper studied the relationship among parenting style, negative perfectionism and academic burnout of college student. The results show that: (1) Positive parenting style is significantly negatively correlated with academic burnout. Negative parenting style is significantly positively correlated with academic burnout; Negative perfectionism is significantly positively correlated with college students' academic burnout; Negative parenting style and negative perfectionism are significantly positively correlative with each other. (2) Negative perfectionism has a partial mediating role in the relationship between negative parenting style and academic burnout. Negative parenting style affects the individual's academic burnout level through negative perfectionism personality.
