Abstract:

Measurement corresponds to a large part of software engineering, since it allows get important informations for the development of software projects. There are many tools to support measurement activities. Therefore, choosing the best tool can be difficult. Faced with such problem, this study aims at creating an analysis regarding measurement tools presented in literature. The methodology chosen for the task was the systematic literature review. The results present the metric tools chosen in literature, their functionalities, and the main metric used by these tools. Based on the results, a measurement tool was developed. The tool seeks to use the strengths of the tools analyzed and at the same time cover the gaps that the tools of the study presented.
