Abstract:

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) technology are embedded systems where there are several sensors equipped with a communication system. This can be applied to monitor air conditions in real time. In this paper, we implement using real hardware where Arduino as a microcontroller and for the environmental monitoring we use temperature, humidity, and CO2 sensors. The data from sensor node will be sent to server use IEEE 802.15.4 protocol to data collection, and it will be saved to database MySQL. By use IoT, the data in the local database will be synchronized to the cloud by using internet access; the aim is so that users can be monitor environment condition by real-time using website or smartphone. And also we provide about the information environmental on media social such as Facebook and Twitter.

I. Introduction

Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) was originally developed as a military application for use in battlefield surveys. However, now WSN is used in many other industrial and commercial applications to monitor environmental conditions, health applications, and traffic control. At present, there are various types of wireless sensor networks, and all types of WSN are currently equipped with radio transceivers or wireless communication devices and energy sources (usually batteries) [1] [2].
