Abstract:

This paper proposes a novel topology of a multiport DC/DC converter composed of an H-bridge inverter, a high-frequency galvanic isolation transformer, and a combined circuit with a current-doubler and a buck chopper. The topology has lower conduction loss by multiple current paths and smaller output capacitors by means of an interleave operation. Results of computer simulations and experimental tests show proper operations and feasibility of the proposed strategy.
