I. Introduction
Search and rescue (SAR) dogs are widely used in SAR missions at disaster sites and can rapidly find cues and locate victims based on their keen sense of smell. Conversely, SAR dogs can also confirm that there are no victims at the search sites. SAR dogs were used to support rescue efforts following both the Jiji Earthquake in Taiwan in 1999 [1] and the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011.
