Abstract:

This paper presents the preliminary results of an electromagnetic characterization of Conical inductors fabricated using stereolithographic 3D printing and electroless copper plating. Experimental measurements and electromagnetic simulations have been carried out to determine the performance of Conical Inductors in terms of Equivalent Inductance and Quality Factor. Three test inductors with different geometries have been studied. The obtained results are discussed and correlated with the technological parameters of the fabrication process.
