Abstract:
This paper investigates a deployment method for multistatic radar on a moving platform, taking into account the position uncertainty tolerance and performance stability of the radar system. The problem of position uncertainty tolerance and performance stability are solved by improving the problem model and introducing more appropriate objective functions. Firstly, an improved model for multistatic radar systems on moving platforms is established. Then, we introduce the concepts of effective coverage ratio and the lowest average signal-noise ratio (SNR). Next, based on the problem model, the optimization problem and objective functions are formulated and solved by multi-objective particle swarm optimization (MOPSO) algorithm. Finally, the results of simulations and performance stability tests illustrate the validity of the proposed deployment scheme.
