Abstract:

The three-dimensional micro-motion parameters reflect the target’s structure and motion information, providing important recognition features. The nutation cone is one of the typical targets in anti-missiles. The extraction of three-dimensional micro-motion parameters for nutation cones is of great significance. However, the existing methods cannot extract the three-dimensional micro-motion parameters of nutation targets based on monostatic radar. To solve this problem, an extraction method of three-dimensional micro-motion parameters is proposed based on monostatic radar. Firstly, a new nutation observation model is proposed, and the frequency shift equations of cone top and cone bottom echoes are analyzed. The analytical solutions for micro-motion parameters are derived from the coefficients of the frequency shift equations. Based on analytical solutions, three-dimensional micro-motion parameters are extracted. The effectiveness of the algorithm is validated through measured data.
