Abstract:

Health care data is characterized by the presence of many sensitive attributes and leakage of these sensitive attributes can breach patient’s privacy. With the rapid adoption of cloud for data storage by healthcare enterprises, it becomes necessary to secure the data from privacy breaches both directly or through inference. Recently hybrid cloud based data offloading is proposed to enhance the security of cloud. As a continuation to it, a data distribution scheme for a hybrid cloud with enhanced security and access control is proposed in this work. The proposed solution addresses multiple objectives of providing security, fine-grained access control, and differential privacy for users. A novel two level encryption algorithm is proposed as part of work to address these multiple objectives.
