Abstract:
Methodical aspects of determining the zone of successful interaction between RFID tags and readers used to solve problems of automatic identification and spatial localization of objects in enclosed spaces are considered. The proposed method identifies the probabilistic traits associated with the effective interaction zone between RFID tags and the reader. This facilitates a more strategic placement of sensitive elements within readers and the selection of tag detection thresholds based on predetermined probability distributions for the instability of the informative parameter's initial, controlled, and residual values. The suggested mathematical model for the operation of the primary measuring transducer aligns well with experimental evaluations. The variance between theoretical and experimental values of the informative parameter is within a 5% margin. The considered method makes it possible to determine zones of successful interaction between the tag and the reader.
