Abstract:

The object of the study is a solar photovoltaic power plant designed to produce hydrogen as part of the decarbonization strategy in Russia. Its design capacity., efficiency., capabilities and limitations of various components are determined. During the research process., various analysis and modeling methods were used., including the SAM consultation system and other software tools. The issues of choosing the optimal location for installing a power plant., determining its configuration and energy management were considered. The article describes the concept of a solar power plant capable of efficiently using available solar energy to produce hydrogen., and identifies the potential application in the context of the decarbonization strategy in Russia. As a result of the research., a model of a photovoltaic station designed for hydrogen production was developed. Optimal system components were analyzed and selected., an energy management strategy was developed., and a safety study was conducted. The practical significance of the work is to create a basis for the design and implementation of efficient and sustainable solar power plants for hydrogen production., which can help achieve decarbonization goals in Russia and improve the country's energy security.
