Development of an IoT-Based Door Security System Using Reed Switch Sensor with RFID and Telegram Notification

Many limited spaces, such as offices, laboratories and organizational rooms, are found to utilize conventional keys for security, subsequently emphasizing a factor regarding the cases of loss or crime. This shows that various technological development processes are designed to provide security and protect owned assets. The security system also works with an electronic program to ensure difficult entrance without a key. Therefore, this study aims to develop an automatic door safety system, to increase room security. This was done using a reed switch sensor with RFID and telegram notification. In this case, the sensor used a controller and served as a detector, alerting an individual's interior and exterior mobilities through the door. The Node MCU ESP8266 was used as the controller, with RFID also utilized as a data store for users' authentication evidence.
