Abstract:
Wireless power transfer (WPT) technology has gained significant attention in recent years due to its potential to revolutionize the way to charge and power electronic devices. Accurate estimation of mutual inductance and load resistance are essential to achieve control goals as well as optimal operation of the system. This paper proposes an approach to obtain analytical closed-form solution of mutual inductance and load resistance for the LCC-S compensated WPT system, without communication from the receiver side. It also analyzes the sensitivity of the estimation results to both measurements and other system parameters. The results of simulation and hardware experiments confirm the feasibility of the proposed method.
