Abstract:
The combination of metaheuristic techniques and deep learning models has gained significant attention in recent years due to their potential to address complex optimization problems. In this paper, we have presented a comprehensive study of the role of metaheuristic techniques in enhancing the performance of deep learning models. We also discussed few metaheuristic algorithms, which includes firefly algorithms, particle swarm optimization, and ant colony optimization, along with CNN model of deep neural network. Furthermore, the literature work has been also presented where metaheuristic techniques have been successfully applied to improve the performance of deep learning models in various applications. The findings of this study demonstrate the potential of metaheuristic techniques in enhancing the performance of deep learning models and their significance in addressing complex optimization problems. Moreover, it also includes the challenges faced by the researchers which still persist.
