Abstract:

It is critical to safeguard individuals as much as possible since criminal activity increases daily. Nowadays, people visit many different places, both well-known and obscure. People may not be aware of unsafe neighbourhoods or roadways. In this study work, we tried mining the data of 12 years based on geographic areas in order to discover the safest path out of all conceivable routes for a given source and destination at a specified time. With the help of the ID3 decision tree algorithm, we determine the danger level for each street along a specified path. In order to ensure traveller safety, the safest route is also suggested based on the gender and time of the journey. In this paper, the methodology, dataset, ID3 algorithm, and outcomes are discussed. This algorithm can be applied to a variety of tasks, including neighborhood-level crime analysis, criminal profiling, and assisting potential buyers in real estate transactions.
