Abstract:
Real time data transfer, network communication and configuration of control systems are currently growing on as a part of development of smart power grid monitoring systems. To achieve excessive accuracy in the smart grid, quality of power must be improved in response to the rapidly increasing demand for power supply. Thus, a smart sensor is furnished to measure grid power capacity and provide consistent updates to the organization. Energy generated by the grid can be monitored in a variety of ways, but an Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled Wireless–Sensor-Network (WSN) is a game-changing system for smart grid monitoring. A network known as the “internet of things” connects people and objects anywhere at any time. As a result, IoT is a vast, dynamic global network architecture made up of things that can connect to the Internet and offer internet services. The Smart Power Grid is the most important IoT applications. WSN data communication sensors are used in this proposed model for two-way communication between grid and consumer loads. It is focused on Internet of Things-based energy monitoring systems which can track and analyze electrical behavior of the grid system. The IoT surveillance system is implemented to collect real time electrical grid data from users. Using this information, individual consumers and electric power companies can effectively manage their power usage to reduce invoicing costs.
