Abstract:
Automatic frequency regulation (LFC) is a power system basic operational task that is commonly used for frequency regulation to obtain zero mismatch power deviation. Due to use of advanced technology, cyber intrusions are becoming a more serious threat towards safe operation of power system. After time delay intrusions, it in adequate to send accurate measurement data to control center within time range. This attack causes a disruption in the grid by manipulating the rate of change of frequency (ROF). Hence, a robust sliding mode controller (SMC) is developed against constant and varying time delay cyber intrusions and load patterns. The deviations in state trajectories guarantee to minimize the negative impact of delay attack vulnerabilities on grid state trajectories. It achieves minimum time characteristics simultaneously such as over/undershoot, settling time even in presence of delay attack vulnerabilities in LFC problem.
