Machine Learning Enabled Smart Farming:The Demand of the Time

As we all know that population is increasing day by day; simultaneously we need increase in agro production so that India should be self reliance in the field of production of all types of food items. Since agriculture land is shrinking day by day so to increase the production it is demand of the time to use technology in agriculture field. Smart farming is the concept to enhance the production quality of production, crop selections, and mineral deficiency detections and of course to increase the earning of the farmers. Smart farming deals with seed selection, soil health measurement, water, fertilizer requirement etc. Lot many work has been done in this area but lot many more is remaining. Using sensor and data available we can select the best crop for a particular soil and climate also prediction of the production. Smart farming is the future of agriculture, which will enables the nation to feed such large population. Use of ML and IOT can change the status of agro business; technology has the ability to optimize the cost and production. Water, seed, disease, marketing, crop-selection accurate weather prediction etc all these components can be effectively controlled and managed by using ML and IOT., and this leads the future of agriculture in a new Era.
