Abstract:

In this research a new design of Pythagorean treelet shaped fractal antenna with etching is deliberated using a unique motif known as Pythagorean tree which obeys a Pythagoras theorem. This proposed antenna is designed for the frequency range between 0 to 6 GHz which includes WLAN, NATO G band, Wi-Max, and some frequency of IEEE C band also. IE3D electromagnetic software is the simulation tool used in this. The proposed antenna has a very compact size with base patch of 41.3*41.34mm<;sup>2<;/sup> with height of 1.6mm. The antenna is able to achieve multiband behavior and the improvement is investigated as well as discussed with VSWR<;2. The parameters such a gain, return loss, directivity, VSWR etc. are analyzed using IE3D.
