Abstract:

The company's approach to small and medium-sized businesses is part of EDF's strategy of building a modern public service. This involves: paying closer attention to customers and members of the public, listening to their opinions and acting accordingly; providing all customers with a standard of service giving the highest level of quality in Europe combined with the best price, and to guarantee a first class service at competitive rates throughout the country; and offering all customers ranges of additional services to satisfy their specific expectations. The seven services provide a response to three areas of concern: making electricity management easier and controlling costs; controlling electrical processes; and guaranteeing the quality of the electricity supplied to the customer. The seven services are: DIAPASON, applying the most suitable tariff at points of delivery; FACILIS, customized payment facilities; ELECTRO PROCESS, information on processes and assistance in training on processes; EMERAUDE, contractual commitment concerning the quality of supply and detailing maximum power cut limits; ECHO RESEAU, information for a new consumer on the quality of the electrical supply to be provided; PREVENANCE, information on planned power cuts; and FIABELEC, a complete solution to reducing the sensitivity of an internal electrical installation.
