Abstract:
The self-assessment of quality plays a strategic role when it comes to direct or govern the use of Information Technology (IT) in a telecommunications organization. Due to its importance, it is essential to start out from a relational determination between models to suit it to the organizational reality. This work of exploratory and documentary research addresses the quality in the use of IT from the perspective of the Iberoamerican excellence model and the ISO 38500 standard, based on the knowledge about the high use that IT represents in the organization strategy.
