Keynotes 1: Business intelligence and management in South Korea

The ICT (information communication technology) has dramatically changed business environment in South Korea. For example, Samsung Electronics and Hyundai Motor Company have become globally competitive companies with the help of advanced business intelligence and management culture. The purpose of this paper is to conceive effective ICT service which used in production and marketing in Korean big companies. In particular, we study what software and system is used by the convergence of business intelligence and business process, and improved for repeatable, operational management decision. We also find how Korean big companies create and build a more effective sales and production intelligence system to expand its global market. We strongly expect that main ICT services which are developed by Korean big companies will be applied to enhance the degree of competitiveness of other companies in Asian countries.
