Optimization of the painting problem by a genetic approach using interval-values

Genetic algorithms are frequently used for optimization. In this paper, we solve the Painting problem by using some specific knowledge about the problem itself. We also use interval-values to show that they improve the effectiveness of a genetic algorithm.
