An Experimental Research on the Relationships between Preferences for Technical Activities and Behavioural Profile in Software Development

This article describes a survey conducted to identify correlations between preferences for technical activities and behavioral profiles for work in a team of software engineers. The context of the research was software engineering undergraduate students at State University of Pernambuco, Brazil. The information about preferences and behaviorobtained in a field study involving 100 students received a statistical treatment using the Spearman rank correlation coefficient.
