Experimental evaluation of mutual coupling influence on the isolation characteristics of a dual-port v-type line impedance stabilization network
Publication Year: 2018, Page(s):39 - 45This research investigates the influence of parasitic coupling on the dual-port V-type line impedance stabilization network (LISN) characteristics. The measurement results demonstrate that the mutual interaction between two lines in a dual-port LISN could affect the isolation characteristics between the AC power line ports, receiver ports, equipment under test ports. Trends of EMC standards for automotive network devices and communication quality of ethernet in relation to parameters of pulse disturbances
Publication Year: 2018, Page(s):46 - 50Recently, a series of EMC standards for bus transceiver ICs, IEC 62228, which focuses on automotive applications, has been greatly attracting attention. In particular, the importance of immunity characteristics is increasing to ensure safety and reliability. In this article, the latest trends for IEC 62228 series are introduced; particularly, automotive Ethernet is focused on among automotive netw... View full abstract»

RF immunity test of CAN FD Transceivers during Data-Frame Communication
Publication Year: 2018, Page(s):51 - 55Designing electronic devices in consideration of EMC is very important, especially in the case of using the devices in cars. Because of this, standards for evaluating the EMC of bus transceivers equipped in cars are focused on. The authors are currently researching CAN FD transceivers and carried out an RF immunity test by using the DPI method to investigate the reason for CAN FD communication err... View full abstract»
