    An accurate impulse model using the modified z-transform method is presented, for the analysis of the dynamic behaviour of single-phase fullcontrolled thyristor-bridge with a uniform and a natural sampling.     A computer program is described that automatically produces non-linear, state equations directly from a simple topological description of an electrical and/or mechanical network.     State-feedback compensators and observer-controller compensators are designed for switching regulators whose dynamic response can be approximated by sets of first-order linear differential equations.
