A geometric approach to model matching reconfigurable propulsion control

A geometric approach is developed for the model matching problem specific to the reconfigurable control situation where failed control surfaces have to be emulated by differential thrust. The testbed model is the "winged cone" scramjet hypersonic reusable launch vehicle, where differential thrust is used instead of eleven. Even though the subspace condition for exact matching is a purely geometric one in terms of subspace inclusion, it is surprisingly tractable and in-sightful, despite the uncertainty that plagues aerospace models.
