EML-based IM/DD 400G (4×112.5-Gbit/s) PAM-4 over 80 km SSMF based on linear pre-equalization and nonlinear LUT pre-distortion for inter-DCI applications

We experimentally demonstrated EML-based IM/DD 4×112.5-Gbit/s PAM-4 transmission over 80km SSMF for inter-DCI applications. Thanks to the transmitter-side DSP based on linear pre-equalization and nonlinear look-up-table pre-distortion, the performances are significantly improved.
