Research on A New Coding-Modulation Method Based on Microwave Fading Channel

This paper discusses a new coding-modulation technique 4APSK-TCM which applied in microwave fading channel, analyses the main factors influencing tis capability. Aims at the situation since the bandwidth resources of microwave fading channel are limited, 4APSK-TCM coding-modulation method which improves the capability of microwave communication system without expanding signal frequency bandwidth has been put forward here. Simulated results by above method in a specified microwave channel show that: relative to the standard TCM method with the same signal bandwidth and SNR, 4APSK-TCM method reduces the bit error probability of system and is of significance in improving the dependability of microwave fading channel communication system.
