Bhandari titled "Green Web-II – Standards and Perspectives from the IUCN: Program and Policy Development in Environment Conservation Domain' is the example how theories can be implemented to study international organization, like IUCN which is once of the oldest and largest only focussed on conservation of nature and natural resources, and had a global presence particularly to empower the governments, NGOs and environmentalist for environmental policy formation and implementation. The book explains complexity of theories, practical applications and shows how research tools can be used in practice. This is an extraordinary example of scholarly work. Bhandari asked me to write my opinions on his books published by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the global authority on the status of the natural world and the measures needed to safeguard it. Prof. Bhandari's second edition book dovetails his personal conservation experiences with the global environmental movement, where he finds strong nexus between them. Dr. Bhandari's commendable work has demonstrated how various local and global level environmental efforts are tailored with conservation theories.
