Fundamental Principles for Modeling an Existence

This chapter presents some of the experiments that have been conducted to evaluate the relevance of the Knowledge Garden (KG) and consolidates the technical specifications. This practical development has also enabled to refine the theoretical principles that are at the heart of this ecosystem modeling platform. The chapter includes the Spinozist proposals for an ethical ontology. It also presents the key concepts used in the contemplation of knowledge ecosystems before proposing a method for the modeling of information existences within these ecosystems. For a long time presented as a realistic perspective to the development of the Internet, the notion of the Semantic Web has gradually been replaced by that of Linked Open Data. The semantic knowledge management approach that links interoperable data is far more realistic, but it poses very concrete problems, particularly in the application of computer ontologies; problems that Pierre Levy proposes to solve through a semantic sphere.
