Innovations to Support Mass Customization

In chapter 4 we discussed how the “digital natives” have come to expect very different mobility solutions than the traditional pattern of car-dependent mobility. They have also grown up as consumers who expect products and services to be uniquely personalized to each individual. As we configure a new architecture for mobility, this expectation of personalization will play an important role.
