7 Emergent Paradigms for Collaboration

In this chapter, we continue the discussion of art and artists in the Asia-Pacific by examining how new models for collaborative cross-cultural art projects have developed in the region. Through the example of how networked and social media are now implicated in reimagining artistic subjectivity and engagement, we argue that artwork emerging from the region is providing new paradigms that are also relevant for understanding collaboration.
