A modified version of the minimum mean square error receiver to be used with UTRA TDD mode is presented in this paper. The structure is tested in a multipath fading channel and its equalisation and multipath access interference suppression characteristics are studied and compared with the traditional receiver and with a linear equaliser CDMA receiver
